Today, QualityWings Simulations announced on their Facebook page that they are developing a Boeing 787-10 (B787-10) Dreamliner, the newest derivative of the Dreamliner series. Notably, QualityWings declared that this new variant will be a free add-on/upgrade to the current owners of their B787-8 and B787-9 variants. The B787-10 add-on/upgrade will be available as soon as it was ready.
The brand new and longest B787-10 Dreamliner in the series can accommodate up to 330 passengers in a 2-Class configuration and has a range of 6,430 nautical miles. The United States Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) certified the new B787-10 in January 2018. Boeing recently delivered the first B787-10 to Singapore Airlines Ltd. on Sunday March 25, 2018, whom has 48 more on order. American Airlines and Boeing recently announced an order for 47 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner’s. This order also converts the previous order(s) with the older models to the new B787-10. The list price for this order is $12.3 billion United States Dollars. However, the contractual order price was not disclosed.
QualityWings recently released their Boeing 787 Dreamliner for Lockheed Martin’s Prepar 3D version 4 (P3Dv4) on May 23, 2018. I wrote a comprehensive review here on this outstanding aircraft that was published on June 1, 2018 and is available by clicking here, for those on the fence or considering to buy the product. It can be purchased through Flight1 by clicking here. The typical initial release issues/bugs have been fixed and updated to version 1.1.1 in the “teething” process.
In addition to their announcement today, QualityWings provided an outstanding preview video with the B787-10 flying over Las Vegas, Nevada (U.S.A.).
The Dash 10 is in development and will be available as a free upgrade for existing customers of the Ultimate 787 Collection. No timetable availabe, but we promise it will be available as soon as it's ready!
