The Dreamflight Studios team has provided some new insight into two of their current projects, Quito (SEQM) and San Jose (MROC) over on their Facebook page.
Quito (SEQM), located in Ecuador, was modeled previously by Aerosoft. However, that scenery covered the old airport, SEQU. This airport was decommissioned around ten years ago, and service into the Ecuadorian capital now goes through a new airport, SEQM, which has not been made for payware in FSX/P3D. Dreamflight is known for high quality South and Central American sceneries, and I’m sure this one will be no exception. They have previewed a new photo of the scenery and buildings from their development software, with more photos from the flight sim (Prepar3D v4 with dynamic lighting) to come soon. The photo looks very nice, and shows the amount of detail that the team is putting in.
While they did not provide a release estimate for Quito, they also stated that their next scenery, San Jose, Costa Rice, MROC, will bve coming shortly after the SEQM release. They also said they “will have more surprises besides MROC,” hinting at some other project in the works. Knowing Dreamflight, it’s something to look forward to!
