Note: This post is simply meant to offer our readers a warning and is not intended to stoke any fires. We care about flight simulation consumers because we ARE flight simulation consumers, and we look out for each other.
Today on Facebook, Drzewiecki Design expressed their displeasure with popular flight simulation vendor The FlightSim Store. Drzewiecki has also asked their customers to no longer use The FlightSim Store as an option for purchasing their products, and clarified that they will no longer be uploading products to the site. They also state that they are not the only developers experiencing issues, and that almost all developers have had problems with The FlightSim Store at some point. In the comments section, I read posts from customers who purchased product through The FlightSim Store and never received download links. One customer said that he had to go to Aerosoft in order to update a particular product purchased from The FlightSim Store. As an act of courtesy, FSPS Store and X-Plane.org store have agreed to assist customers who are unable to update/download our products they have purchased at FlightSim Store.
