Most of you will know FlyInside for their VR development, one that makes FSX and Prepar3D usable with a VR headset.
I just spoke with Dr. Klil Neori (PhD), one of the lead developers at FlyInside about their just announced brand new flight simulator, which will hopefully be released in late December 2017.
The demo I tried currently covers a very large area surrounding San Francisco. The demo placed me in TFDi's 717 cockpit at KSFO. While the 717's cockpit appeared complete and feature usable, the scenery graphics are still very much alpha and work-in-progress.
The graphics were fluid on a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, and Klil assured me that they are making the scenery complexity fully scalable for those using older hardware. Of course high-end hardware will be recommended for delivering an optimum VR experience.
Some early screenshots follow.
