FSX/P3D. According to Mathijs Kok, Aerosoft's head of internal developments, a new series of products is currently being tested. One of these products is titled: "Night Environment" and is intended to enrich the night lighting environments in FSX and P3D via a combination of millions of lights and textures. Because the product consists of a group of layers including the base layer the product can be used on any hardware and basically will work with any additional scenery. But the real question is: how will it work with Orbx FTX? According to Mathijs: "It is advised to either run this with ORBX Vector (vector lights off); or with photoreal underneath. With Vector, each light will have a road under it, as they use the same real world data as we do with NE. With FSX night textures there some roads not represented in default FSX data files with photoreal layer underneath the lights fit 1:1 fit to the roads and streets." If you understood that, then you should have an idea of what to expect regarding compatibility.
